Clare Guss-West


Clare Guss-West is a former professional dancer, choreographer, dance educator, holistic health practitioner, author and specializing in the integration of Attention and Focus research into dance practice. Founder and co-director of the Dance & Creative Wellness Foundation, Netherlands, Clare is also Chair of the International Association of Dance, Medicine & Science, Dance for Health (IADMS) committee. ​

Emily Jenkins


Emily Jenkins is an established, international artist who has been active in the dance sector for many years. In 2016 she founded Move Dance Feel, a UK based dance company that supports women living with and beyond cancer. As Director of this pioneering and award winning initiative, Emily leads Dance in Cancer Care training and is growing a network of practitioners operating in this space across the UK and beyond. 

Sheherazade Boyer-Tami

Shéhérazade Boyer-Tami is a dance therapist, psychosomatician and Managing Director of Institut Rafaël Santé Intégrative. Involved for nearly 15 years in the fight against cancer and the improvement of quality of life through dance for patients with chronic illnesses, she leads weekly dance-therapy workshops at Institut Rafaël Santé Intégrative. She is founder of the association La Danse des Femmes, which campaigns for the right to dance for all, and has also created the En Mouvement method, a training program for healthcare professionals wishing to integrate a bodily dimension into their support.    

Frédérique Bernard 


Frédérique Bernard, physiotherapist and physical activity expert at the Fondation contre le cancer, will talk about the benefits of physical activity for people with or who have had cancer. A fervent advocate of physical activity for health, whether for prevention, during treatment or after the disease, she is working to increase access to physical activity for people affected by cancer.  

Alain Toledano


Dr. Alain Toledano is an oncologist and radiotherapist, founder and president of the Institut Rafaël, and director of the Integrative Health Research Chair at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers. A former chief of clinic at Paris Hospitals and former head of the oncology unit at the American Hospital in Paris, he is also medical director of the Hartmann Institute of Radiosurgery and chairman of the medical board of the Hauts-de-Seine Institute of Oncology. Over the course of his career, he has set up several associations and been actively involved in a number of learned societies. Author of several books, Alain Toledano is also chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite.

David Rodriguez 


David Rodriguez is a professional dancer and cultural manager based in Switzerland. He is also co-director of the Dance & Creative Wellness Foundation in the Netherlands. Since 2017, he has been heading health-related artistic and educational projects for non-profit associations such as the Oncolliga Girona Foundation (through the Girona en Moviment Dance Festival) and the Ligue vaudoise contre le cancer (via the Dansons la vie ! program). In addition to events, these programs highlight the importance of movement before, during and after oncological illness. As a practitioner in this field, he is a regular guest speaker at university conferences.

Dr Peter Lovatt


Dr. Peter Lovatt is a dance psychologist. Known for his many television appearances and lectures, he demonstrates with boundless energy the positive impact of movement on human thought and behavior, as well as on the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. He is the author of "The Dance Cure: The Surprising Science to Being Smarter, Stronger, Happier". Peter Lovatt is also Director of Movement in Practice and cofounder along with Dame Darcey Bussell of Move-Assure Dance for Mental Wellbeing.
