Clare Guss-West MA


Clare Guss-West is a former professional dancer, choreographer, dance educator, holistic health practitioner, and author, specializing in integrating research on Attention and Focus into dance practice. Founder and co-director of the Dance & Creative Wellness Foundation in the Netherlands, Clare is also the chair of the Dance for Health committee of the International Association of Dance, Medicine & Science.

Emily Jenkins


Emily Jenkins is a recognized international artist who has been active in the dance sector for many years. In 2016, she founded Move Dance Feel, a dance company based in the United Kingdom that supports women living with and after cancer. As the director of this pioneering and award-winning initiative, Emily leads the Dance in Cancer Care training and develops a network of practitioners operating in this space across the UK and abroad.

Sheherazade Boyer-Tami

Sheherazade Boyer-Tami is a dance therapist, psychosomatician, and the general director of the Institut Rafaël Santé Intégrative. For nearly 15 years, she has been dedicated to fighting cancer and improving the quality of life of patients with chronic illnesses through dance. She leads weekly dance therapy workshops at the Institut Rafaël - Santé Intégrative. She is the founder of the association "La Danse des Femmes," which advocates for the right to dance for all, and has also created the "En Mouvement" method, a training program for healthcare professionals who wish to incorporate a physical dimension into their care. 

Frédérique Bernard 


Frédérique Bernard is a physiotherapist and serves as a physical activity expert at the Foundation Against Cancer. A fervent advocate for movement as a means to improve health, both in prevention and during treatment and after illness, she works towards increasing access to physical activity for individuals affected by cancer. 

Alain Toledano


Alain Toledano is an oncologist-radiotherapist, founder and president of the Institut Rafaël, and director of the Research Chair in Integrative Health at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers. A former chief clinical officer at the Hospitals of Paris and ex-head of the oncology department at the American Hospital of Paris, he is also the medical director of the Hartmann Institute of Radio-Surgery and president of the medical board of the Hauts-de-Seine Oncology Institute. Throughout his career, he has founded several associations and is actively involved in various scientific societies. He is also the author of several books. Alain Toledano is a Knight of the National Order of Merit.

David Rodriguez 


David Rodriguez is a professional dancer and cultural manager based in Switzerland. Since 2017, he has been leading artistic and educational projects related to health for non-profit organizations such as the Oncolliga Girona Foundation (through the Girona en Moviment dance festival) and the Ligue vaudoise contre le cancer (via the "Dansons la vie" program). In addition to events, these programs highlight the importance of movement before, during, and after oncological illness. As a practitioner in this field, he is regularly invited to speak at academic conferences. 

Dr Peter Lovatt


Dr. Peter Lovatt is a dance psychologist. Known for his many television appearances and lectures, he demonstrates with boundless energy the positive impact of movement on human thought and behaviour, as well as on the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. He is the author of "The Dance Cure: The surprising secret to being smarter, stronger, happier and Dance" and he is Director of Movement in Practice and cofounder along with Dame Darcey Bussell of Move-Assure Dance for Mental Wellbeing.
